Have you tried to cook an onion bread home? Cook it at home by yourself, especially that’s pretty easy. Bread comes out incredibly fluffy and flavoured. Ingredients: • all-purpose flour – 400 g • onion – 200 g • scallion – 70 g • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp • dry yeast – 1½ tsp • warm water – 250 ml • salt – 1½ tsp You will need: • oven • baking sheet • parchment paper • pan • bowl Preparation: 1. Chop up the onion and scallion. 2. Heat a pan with 2 tbsp of vegetable oil, add the onion and fry stirring constantly for 5 minutes over medium heat until golden. 3. Add the chopped white part of scallion and ½ tsp of salt and fry stirring for 3 minutes more over medium heat. 4. Into a deep bowl add 400 g of the sieved flour, fried onion, chopped up scallion and 1 tsp of salt, stir well with a spatula or spoon. 5. Melt the yeast in 250 ml of warm water, add to the flour and onion mixture, knead the dough soft, cover the bowl with a food film and place for an hour into a warm place. 6. Dust an even and clean working surface with flour, lay out the dough, spread evenly with hands not stretching much and roll up as a loaf. 7. Replace the bread onto the parchment lined baking sheet, make a diagonal cut, cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes. 8. Bake the bread in the oven preheated to 240°C at «convection upper and lower heat» mode for 15 minutes with an oven-safe container with water under the baking sheet. 9. In 15 minutes remove the container with some water, reduce the heat to 220°C and bake for another 10 minutes. 10. Take the baked bread out of the oven and leave for an hour at room temperature.
