It's not what you'd consider an 'open-world' game, but it does use an open world. It's not really a survival-game, but surviving and managing needs like food, water, sleep and conditions, is an important part of its gameplay. It's not a strategy game, but managing increasingly larger clans and almost 'attack-moving' them onto singular, or grouped enemies becomes more important the deeper into the game you get. It doesn't really have a narrative, and it's definitely not an action game. Ancestors is weird.
