Hello Everyone! Today I am sharing with you my Dutch Pour process. This is a Dutch Pour with recipes, pouring mediums, tips on consistency, composition, and much more! This is a tester I am doing for an upcoming huge diptych (2 - 24"x48" canvases) commission piece in more earthy tones. So I was really excited to see how this one was going to work out because, if you follow me you know these colors are outside of my comfort zone... but NOT ANYMORE!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE COLORS! This is not a pearl cell pour this time...its just a straight up Dutch Pour. Materials I used in this demonstration: 2-11"x14" Deep Edge Gallery Wrapped Canvas (ARTIST LOFT LEVEL 3) Artist Loft Titanium White & Golden Fluids Yellow Ochre to make Custom Cream Golden Fluids: Custom Terracotta - Golden Fluids Burnt Sienna & Titanium White Modern Masters: Champaign, Pearl White, Pale Gold Custom Blue Green Grey Golden GAC 800 US Floetrol POURING MEDIUM FOR PUDDLE AND DUTCH POUR PAINTS: 50% Floetrol 50% Golden GAC 800 (or Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss) PUDDLE & DUTCH POUR paints mixed 1 pt paint to 5 pts PM and water to consistency (tube paint approximately 1 part water, fluid paint no water) (This is the ratio for highly pigmented paints like Golden, Amsterdam, Pebeo, etc) No silicone used for cells.
