In today’s episode, I’m modifying the front end of my 1991 Chevy C1500 to fit Brembo brakes and rotors from a Gen 5 Camaro SS — all while keeping the total cost just over $1200, compared to $5,000+ for a bolt-on kit. I’m using a combination of eBay finds, junkyard parts, and billet hubs from Little Shop Mfg, along with my DIY plasma table, grinder, and cutoff wheel to make it all work. This setup not only saves money but allows me to source wear items at any local parts store instead of being tied to a specialty kit manufacturer that may or may not still exist.
