Want to know whether the Honest Beauty Liquid Eyeliner is worth it? Well at under $10 you'd think it would be. But did it beat my other favorite clean liquid liner? Ingredients Check: What’s inside? Not great. Two red flags. See below. ✔ 2. How's color pay off? Gave a solid saturated black upon application. SCORE: 5/5 ✔ 3. Application- does it glide on and dry quickly so there's little mess? Not the easiest. There's a precision tip which you think would help me, but instead I found it almost too precise! SCORE: 3/5 ✔ 4. Does it give smooth lines? They were OK. A little rough and because it dries matte, it was hard to work with, clean up. SCORE: 3/5 ✔ 5. Does it last for the full amount of time promised? It lasted for 8 hours, but I saw a little wear and tear sooner than that 8 hour mark. SCORE: 3/5 ✔ 6. Is it non-irritating? I wear contacts and didn't have an issue. SCORE: 5/5 ✔ 7. Keeping it Conscious: Is it cruelty-free? How about, consciously produced & packaged? Cruelty-free and vegan are fantastic. It's plastic, net-new, which is not fantastic.
