A celebration of early spring and new life returning after the cold winter. This block was inspired by the flowering currant in our garden, which is beginning to show bright green buds on its winter stems. Worked very simply with straight stitch, self-couching, and detached chain stitch. You can stitch something similar based on whatever you see in your local park or garden at this time of year.
