Interactions are reciprocal events that require at least two objects and two actions” (Wagner, 1994, p. 8). It is also associated to social constructivist learning and connectivism learning. According to Moore (1989), there are three types of interactions, these are (1) learner to content, (2) learner to teacher, and (3) learner to learner. Learner to content is what Holmberg (1986) referred to as “internal didactic conversation” where learners “talk to themselves” about the information and ideas they encounter (Moore, 1989). While learner to teacher interaction is evident when the instructor counsels a group of students, or when he/she enters in a dialogue with the learner. Finally, learner to learner happen between one learner and other learners, alone or in group settings, with or without the real-time presence of an instructor.
