Step into the action of the Maluti Military Fair at Sandstone Estates! On Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd November, G5 Events hosted an unforgettable two-day celebration of military heritage, aviation, and steam power — and I had the privilege of running a dedicated photographic charter throughout the event. Using a beautifully restored 1940s Bristol Bus, our group travelled to and from Grootdraai, capturing everything from military shuttles and vehicle displays to the atmosphere at the airfield, complete with two elegant vintage Tiger Moths circling overhead. But the heart of this video lies on the rails. Join me as we view NGG16 No.153 hauling passenger shuttles through the Maluti foothills, filmed from multiple locations throughout the estate.
