Barcelona, 1979. Paralympic cyclist in the Handbike category. Double Paralympic Champion in Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2021. Since 2001, he has lived with a tetraplegic spinal cord injury caused by a workplace accident. Optimistic, determined, and perseverant, he adapted to his new situation. He pursued university studies in Medicine and Criminology until 2014, when sport crossed his path—marking the beginning of a promising athletic career. Today, he is one of the leading figures of the Spanish Paralympic cycling team, remaining on the podium continuously since 2016 and holding titles such as World, European, and Spanish Champion, among others. To date, he has accumulated more than 90 national and international medals. Thanks to the example he sets and the impact of his image on society, combined with his extensive track record, he has become a true sports reference at both national and international levels.
