March 2021 Follow The Runner east with CP T08 along the Kawartha Lakes Railway, Canadian Pacific's Internal Shortline between Toronto Yard and Havelock Ontario. Dagmar Road (Mile 161) once was a stop on both CP and VIA's Dayliner service on this line and the former shelter was moved to a nearby property once decommissioned by CP. Next Myrtle Station also a former stop once home to a full size Van Horne Style station, Raglan, Pontypool (little remains of the rail history here other than the mainline, preserved grain elevator. and a partial siding tied to the remains of a backtrack now only used for MOW equipment.) Manvers once a community with a Van Horne Station, water tower, store and fuel pumps is now a side road with only residences. Cavan too would lose it's station in 1979, and retain a stop for the VIA for a few more years, now an out of service siding remains next to the private residence and farm. Finally Harper Road crew change point at the southwest end of Peterboro, a short siding here was once used to load travel trailers, transload material for wood pellet production and store car loads of grain and locomotives. It was once proposed as a site for one of the stations for the Shining Waters Railway project, and the property would still stand a strong chance of being used as such for any possible future passenger service. Along the proposed VIA HFR route
