Drone Flight Over Torquay Harbour and Princess Gardens - Sept 2022

Took advantage of the day of the Queen's funeral in order to catch some footage around Torquay Harbour. The Big Wheel was still there on Princess Gardens - although I'm not sure if it was closed because the summer season is over, or because of the funeral event. Also of note is that the fire damage still visible on the pier. This was caused earlier this year when a superyacht caught fire in the harbour. The ropes were cut to protect other nearby vessels, and it drifted across to burn here - setting fire to the pier decking before sinking . Two local flyboarders appeared and began entertaining passers-by on the promenade. I simply couldn't resist a wee fly-over to catch them from a different perspective. Check out that fantastic 'porpoising' at 3:14! Looking good there, lads! I missed the raising of the bascule bridge at the inner harbour entrance - not once, but twice (possibly even 3 times!).
