Hey everybody! In today's video we will be doing a lot of fall baking!! We had a busy weekend full of getting together with family but you can't go empty handed so come with me as I bake an apple pie, sweet potato soufflé and two different kinds of kolaches! I'll have the recipes down below! If anyone tries them let me know what you think! Fall is my favorite time of year to start baking! #fallbaking #fall #sweetpotatosouffle #applepie #dutchapplepie #apples #sweetpotatoes #kolache #pigsinablanket #danish #fallbonfire #bonfires #family #bakewithme2025 #bakewithmefall #bakewithme #october2025 #homemaking2025 #tradwife #cleanwithme #cleanthekitchenwithme #2025 Dutch Apple Pie Recipe Filling: 5 1/2 cups of apples, thinly sliced (I prefer the Granny Smith) 1 T. lemon juice (omit if apples are tart) 1/2 cup of sugar 3 T. all-purpose flour 1/2 t ground cinnamon 1/4 cup of brown sugar 1/4 t of salt 1/4 t of ground nutmeg Topping: 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup of sugar 1/3 cup butter Prepare crust (I use store bought deep dish). Combine all filling ingredients. Mix well and spoon into crust. Mix remaining ingredients for the topping with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Cover the edge of the pie crust to prevent burning. Top the apples with the crumb topping. Bake at 375 degrees on a cookie sheet until golden brown and filling is bubbling. Usually takes between 50 minutes and 1 hr. Enjoy!! Sweet Potato Soufflé Filling: 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes 1 cup of sugar 1/2 t of salt 2 eggs 1/3 stick of melted butter (2 1/2 T) 1/2 cup of milk 1 t. of vanilla Topping: 1 cup of brown sugar 1/3 cup of self-rising flour 1 cup of chopped pecans 3/4 stick of butter crumbled (6 T) Mix all of filling ingredients together with blender. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Mix topping ingredients together. Sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown. ENJOY!! Easy Sausage Kolache (fancy pigs in a blanket lol) I got this from joyous apron.com ( I did change the recipe up a bit I believe just to make it easier) Ingredients: 12 yeast dinner rolls (frozen) 12 hot dogs butter (melted to brush on top before baking) Place 12 frozen dough 2 to 3 inches apart on baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Spray the top of the frozen rolls with cooking spray and cover with cling wrap. Let your yeast rolls rise the amount it suggests on the back of the bag. Usually 3 to 5 hrs. Pat dry the hot dogs. Using a rolling pin, roll one risen dough into a flat rectangular shape. place the hot dog on one side of the dough and roll. Let the hotdog/roll rise for another hour covered. Brush the top of each roll with melted butter then place in an oven preheated to 375 for 15 to 17 minutes. ENJOY!! Danish Kolache (Cherry and plain) I got this recipe from MY TEXAS KITCHEN ( I did change it up a bit to make it simpler!) Ingredients: Frozen yeast dinner rolls CREAM CHEESE FILLING 8 oz cream cheese 1/4 cup of sugar 1 egg yolk 1/2 t vanilla extract FRUIT Pie filling of your choice! I used cherry. Streusel Topping 1/8 cup of flour 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 t salt dash of ground cinnamon 1 1/2 T butter Place 12 frozen dough 2 to 3 inches apart on baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Spray the top of the frozen rolls with cooking spray and cover with cling wrap. Let your yeast rolls rise the amount it suggests on the back of the bag. Usually 3 to 5 hrs. CREAM CHEESE FILLING In a high speed mixer, whisk together cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla extract for 1-2 minutes or until creamy. STREUSEL TOPPING In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Cut butter into dry mixture until coarse crumble forms. Make wells in the center by pressing a lightly floured 1/4 cup measuring cup into the center of each roll. Fill each dough ball with 1 T. of cream cheese filling. Brush sides with melted butter. Cover and let rise another 30 minutes to 1 hour. After dough has risen, spoon 1-2 t of fruit filling into the center of cream cheese filling. Sprinkle with streusel topping. Bake at 350 F for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. ENJOY!! Hope y'all enjoy all of the recipes! Let me know in the comments!☺️
