In the next instalment of the Recovery Uncovered webinar series, Disaster Recovery Mentors Sabrina Davis and Tracey Greenaway will share their insights on finding real-world pathways in disaster recovery. From experiencing disasters first-hand to becoming community leaders and recovery experts, Tracey and Sabrina will explore the benefits and challenges of working in the disaster recovery space. Tracey and Sabrina will share their respective recovery journeys in the first few years following the devastation of the 2013 Blue Mountains Bushfires and the 2019/2020 Black Summer Bushfires in their communities, overcoming imposter syndrome and experiencing post-traumatic growth. This webinar has been designed for all audiences and will be beneficial for people who are interested in using their experience to work or volunteer in the recovery space, those starting out in the recovery space or for those who want to support community members to lead their own recovery.
