In Kabiria, Kawangware, we met Teresia Wanjiku — a mother and grandmother who has lived with disability since birth. Many people look at her and see limitations. Teresia looks at her children and grandchildren and sees responsibility. She runs a small vegetable kibanda to put food on the table, but deep in her heart she has always dreamed of selling chips (fries). She told us: “If I pity myself, who will raise my grandchildren?” So we listened. On that very same day we brought everything she needed to start her chips business — the full setup. When she saw it, the tears came. Not tears of sadness… tears of “this is really happening.” She wiped her eyes, smiled through the tears and said: “Hii biashara tunaianza siku gani?” We answered: “Leo.” She started selling the same day. And she made sales. This is what happens when we stop seeing disability and start seeing determination. This is Twende Tusaidie. We believe in the people. Help regardless. 🇰🇪 Watch full episode every Saturday 10 PM on TV Join the movement & support more families 👇 https://linktr.ee/twendetusaidie #TwendeTusaidie #ActsOfKindnessKenya #Kawangware Video Chapters (paste in description): 0:00 – Meeting Teresia 2:15 – Her daily reality & kibanda hustle 5:40 – “I must work regardless” 8:20 – The dream she never spoke out loud 11:50 – The moment everything arrived 14:30 – Tears of joy 17:10 – Business starts TODAY 19:45 – First customers & her promise
