NBA Draft Junkies | Is Alperen Sengün the next Al Jefferson?

During the 2013-14 NBA season I lived in Charlotte and attended most of the Charlotte Bobcats home games. That season Al Jefferson dominated the low post and even made All NBA despite not being voted on the All Star team. Although it was just 7 seasons ago, it feels like the NBA is totally different. If there was one thing I do miss about the old school NBA, it's the back to the basket center. I miss watching guys like Al Jefferson bully their way to 20 and 10 every night. Turkey's Al Sengun is the best throwback center in this draft class. While looking for an accurate comparison for his game, I decided to avoid the lazy Euro on Euro comparisons and came up with Al Jefferson. In this video I point of some of the similar characteristics in their games.
