There are no excuses -- God is fair. 2. There are no exceptions -- We all are sinners. • vv. 10-12 Psalm 14:1-3 • v. 13 Psalm 5:9; 140-3 • v. 14 Psalm 10:7 • vv. 15-17 Isaiah 59:7-8 • v. 18 Psalm 36:1 3. There is no escape -- You can’t get there on your own. THE HEART OF THE GOSPEL (Romans 3:21-26) 1. Despite our sinfulness, we are justified by the grace of God. • Fall Short: We have an eternal deficit before God. • Justified: We are declared righteous by God. • Grace: It is initiated by God even though undeserved by us. 2. Justification is only accomplished by Christ on the cross. • Redemption: Christ paid our debt. • Propitiation: Christ satisfied the wrath of God. • Demonstration: Christ revealed that God is both just and Justifier. 3. Justification is only experienced through faith alone. THE RESULT OF THE GOSPEL (Romans 3:27-31) 1. It humbles us – No one can boast. 2. It unites us – We all serve one God. 3.
