Doug Olberding has been a lifelong runner, beginning with his grade school track team in 1977 and continues today. He helped launch the Reggae Run in 1994, raising over $1 million for local charities, and now serves as CEO of Pig Works, the organization behind the Flying Pig Marathon, voted the #1 marathon in the U.S. in 2024. A former Xavier University professor of sport management for 25 years, Doug is recognized for his expertise in running event management and his commitment to building inclusive, community-focused running experiences.
