Have you ever seen such ridículous acceleration from a regular train?! - Departure -

In my endeavours to capture as many high speed trains as possible on the lines between Minden, Hannover and Wolfsburg, I ofcourse also had to get to the remote stations where I could capture these services... Ofcourse the intercities, as well as the ICEs, don't call at those stations, so a nifty regional express had the honour to taking me to these obscure locations! Regional operator Enno, part of TOC Metronom, fulfilled the services between Hannover and Wolfsburg, with their own unique type of stock; the Baureihe 1440! An usual Baureihe number to me, as most "BRs" consist of three numbers. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary as the BR 1440 is just a regular, 4-car EMU with a designed top speed of 160 km/h or 100 m/h, intended for regional express services. Now I say "nothing out of the ordinary", but one thing I did notice while traveling on these, was their ungodly fast acceleration speed. And since they brought me to my destination anyway, I decided to start capturing the units from the outside, and that's when it struck me: "I'm not entirely sure, but these get very close to the fastest accelerating regular trains I might have ever seen!" Look at that thing go, it's absolutely mind-boggling; what a rocket! The NS FLIRTS also come to mind (link in the top card), but I think these win; honestly. 🤔 So what do you think? Is this among the fastest accelerators in the railway world? Not counting single locomotives ofcourse. 😂 It sure is high up the list to say the least...
