CPA Learning Network - Delivering Neighbourhood Health Services (11th April 2025)

This online event explores how we turn this vision of neighbourhood health into a reality through collective action in local neighbourhoods. Chaired by Ewan King, Chief Executive of Shared Lives Plus and incoming Chair of Care Provider Alliance, we heard from Tom Riordan, Second Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health and Social Care. Alongside Tom we heard speakers from places and providers of good practice: 1) Melanie Weatherley MBE, Co-Chair Care Association Alliance and Chair of the Lincolnshire Care Association, looking at Neighbourhood Health Services from a provider perspective, and the experiences of integrated working in Lincolnshire. 2) Robin Miller, Improving Adult Care Together (IMPACT) looking at supported neighbourhood approaches across the UK, including Leeds. 3) Dr Luke Wilkinson, Clinical Frailty Lead at SWAGGA in Liverpool, looking at their experience of providing integrated care services with care home providers.
