Parallel High Throughput Fixed Bed Reactor from ILS for Gas Phase Testing

This short video describes a standard parallel gas-phase fixed bed catalyst testing unit from ILS-Integrated Lab Solutions. This particular unit was custom designed for converting CO2 rich syngas to alchohols for a key account from ILS. The standard version goes to 500°C and 100Bar but can be optionally offered for up to 1000°C for more complex reactions like RWGS Dry reforming, SMR, Steam reforming or other reactions. Additionally if liquid products are targeted like in Fischer Tropsch conversions these can also be included. The unit is fully auotomated and includes seamless integration of online analytics like mass spectrometry (MS) or gas chromatography (MS). The modula design is compact and easily transported. This particular unit has independent temperature measurement in each reactor with disposable, fully inert quartz liners. Gas flows are individually measured and controlled for every reactor including the ability to dose high pressure liquid CO2 at very low flowrates to each reactor via coriolis mass flow controllers. PPM amounts of water or other liquids can also be co-fed for kinetic or poison testing studies.
