In the latest EV Talk Webinar delivered on behalf of the FASTER Project, Dr Euan McTurk and industry guests discuss the alternatives available to private car use and the infrastructure required to support those alternatives. The webinar focuses on car club utilisation, bikes and e-bikes, e-scooters and the pros and cons of other micro-mobility options. The project partnership will implement the physical roll out and installation of 73 rapid (50KW capacity) electric vehicle charging stations in the programme area before May 2023. The FASTER Project aims to ensure that the availability of public charging stations is not a major obstacle to Electric Vehicle (EV) market penetration. The FASTER project has been awarded €6,407,513.23 from the European Union’s INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
