This garlic schezwan corn recipe is very easy to make and requires simple ingredients available in every kitchen. The sweet corn is first boiled, coated with corn flour, deep fried until golden crispy, and then tossed with garlic, ginger, green chilli, onions, capsicum and schezwan sauce to create a perfect spicy crispy corn snack. You can serve this crispy corn as a party starter, evening snack, or side dish with fried rice or noodles. ⭐ Benefits of This Recipe ✔ Super crispy and crunchy corn ✔ Restaurant style taste at home ✔ Perfect Indo-Chinese starter ✔ Quick and easy snack recipe ✔ Perfect for parties and evening snacks 🧾 Ingredients • 200 gm Sweet Corn Kernels • 1 tbsp Salt (for boiling) • ½ tbsp Black Pepper Powder • Salt as per taste • 3–4 tbsp cornflour • Oil for Deep Frying For Garlic Szechuan Toss: • 5–6 Garlic Cloves (finely chopped) • ½ inch Ginger (finely chopped) • 1 Green Chilli (finely chopped) • 1 Small Onion (chopped) • Capsicum / Bell Pepper (chopped) • 1 tbsp Schezwan Sauce • 1–2 tbsp Tomato Sauce • Black Pepper as per taste • Salt as per taste • Spring Onion for garnish 👨🍳 Detailed Recipe 1️⃣ Take around 200 gm sweet corn kernels in a bowl. 2️⃣ Boil water in a pan and add *1 tablespoon salt*. Add the corn kernels and boil them for *3–4 minutes until slightly soft*. 3️⃣ Strain the water and transfer the boiled corn into a bowl. 4️⃣ Add *½ tbsp black pepper powder, salt as per taste and 3–4 tbsp cornflour. Mix well so the corn gets nicely coated. 5️⃣ Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the coated corn until golden brown and crispy. 6️⃣ In another pan, heat some oil and add *finely chopped garlic, ginger and green chilli*. Saute for about a minute. 7️⃣ Add**chopped onion and capsicum* and cook for 2 minutes. 8️⃣ Add *a pinch of black pepper, salt, 1 tbsp schezwan sauce and 1–2 tbsp tomato sauce*. Mix well. 9️⃣ Add the crispy fried corn and toss everything together. 🔟 Cook for 2 minutes, garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
