As well as contributing articles to such magazines as Record Collector and Mojo, he’s also written books on The Beatles, The Faces, the TV show Ready, Steady, Go!, and many others. More recently, he wrote the book Their Generation: The Who in America 1967–69, which showcases mostly unseen photographs by Tom Wright, The Who’s longtime friend, US tour photographer and road manager. Andy has also compiled and contributed liner notes to various Who releases over the years, including the upcoming Live at the Oval 1971.
