Since then, his design work has graced many Who album covers and tour merchandise, as well as solo releases by Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey. He’s also the web master for thewho.com and manages the band’s official social media accounts. In the late 60s, Richard started out as a fashion illustrator for teen magazines, and by the early 70s was running his own fashion footwear company, before going on to work for legendary design group Hipgnosis. Away from The Who, Richard has produced work for such artists as Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, The Doors and Robert Plant, to name just a few.
