Easy level T2 tour, approx. 2h 15m. A popular, and for good reason, trail from Ebenalp, passing through the Wildkirchli caves and past the famous Äscher restaurant, up to Schäfler. Cloudy skies gave the dramatic ridge views a moody, mysterious touch. There's one part that is T3, from Schäfler down to the ridge, so not recommended to the vertigo hearted. The general area is always very busy, so if you're headed to the gondola at Wasserauen, go early. Best to take the train, the parking lot fills up fast.
