So another new series similarly based on RoscoTrain107 revisited is Underground Revisited and the 1st episode comes from Victoria Line all the way back from August 31st 2018. The original video Victoria Line Trains on August 31st 2018    • Victoria Line Trains on August 31st 2018   The idea for this was a bit of a coincidence because the day after on Saturday 1st September 2018 would have been the 50th anniversary of the opening of the 1st section of the Victoria Line between Walthamstow Central and Highbury & Islington. So I decided to film the day on a warm Friday during the day at all stations at Walthamstow Central, Blackhorse Road, Tottenham Hale, Seven Sisters, Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington. This was a bit of a challenge because I had only filmed on the Victoria Line only once that was way in November 2017 for the Kings Cross St Pancras Special at Kings Cross St. Pancras itself. Also one thing that does differ to normal tube train design is the drivers cab which on the Victoria Line is different with the drivers controls on the right side of the train instead of the left side on other underground lines. Which in fact the right side cab practice has been in use from Day 1 back when the 1967 Stock had entered service with the 1st commissioned London underground train to run on the 1st generation of ATO. Even with the 2009 stock which fully took over the 1967 stock in July 2011 with 47 trains being built by Bombardier in Derby.
