Join me on an adventure in the central Lake District fells when I was treated to a beautiful sunrise and temperature inversion. I started this adventure in Stonethwaite, in the fog and in the dark but as I climbed out of the valley, I ascended out of the cloud to witness an epic sunrise, one which I will remember for a long time to come. This was my first journey to the central fells and it was a very special day. I can't wait to come back to this area again in the future. About Rudolph’s Mountains Welcome to Rudolph’s Mountains, which records my journey to visit all the mountains in England and Wales over 2,000ft, known as the Nuttalls. They were named after John & Anne Nuttall, who researched and created the initial list of tops, and published quite excellent books on how you could visit them all. I don’t always follow their routes, as I prefer to research the route myself, but I always use their route as a starting point. Each Episode is edited down to around 30 minutes or less and then released on a Saturday at 12 noon when it’s ready. Each Episode has subtitles, as even I can’t understand what I’m saying half of the time! I don’t make any money from YouTube so any adverts you see weren’t placed there by me. Neither do I wear any sponsored clothing or equipment. I share these videos so family, friends and anyone else can enjoy my time in the hills with me and so I have a record of my adventures for the future. If you are planning to venture out on the hills yourself, please make sure you research your route and that you are properly prepared. Always check the mountain weather and ground condition forecast, but don’t trust it! Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so prepare for the worst. Enjoy the mountains, but always take care so that you return home safely. Thanks for watching. Thank you to the royalty free music providers used in this episode.
