Hi Guys , welcome again, So, in my quest to defeat winter, picked up some screw-in tire studs from Amazon along with a pair of trail casing tires that were on sale — I’ll drop the link below. From there, I started building my own DIY winter tires and was eager to put them to the test on hard-packed snow with ice underneath. By the time I finally got out there though, the snow was still light and fluffy — not exactly the conditions I was hoping for. Then the very next day, temperatures spiked and the snow turned to mush, making it impossible to get a proper ride in. While searching for alternatives, I stumbled across the DNR Canal Road — a 73-mile gravel pathway that looks like it could be a solid year-round riding option. So in this video, I’m doing two things: putting my homemade studded tires through their paces, and taking a first look at this trail. Thanks for watching! The studs: https://a.co/d/03KLSoBO
