In this video I'm testing the i7 4790k oc vs the Ryzen 7 5800X in different games in 2023. The Intel i7 4790k is overclocked to 4.6GHz. I tried to overclock it higher, but this one sadly didn't win the silicon lottery. When I overclocked it to 4.7GHz, it gave blue screens while doing benchmarks. The 4790k is already pretty old, but still holds up in some modern games. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X came out in 2020, it has 8 cores with 16 threads, the base frequency is 3.8GHz and the turbo frequency is 4.7GHz. The R7 5800X has a TDP of 105W and has a transistor size of 7 nm.
