There seems to be a delay in Chandrayaan-2's landing on the Moon. What we know right now is that Isro is still waiting for a signal from Chandrayaan-2's lander Vikram that it has landed on lunar surface. Chandrayaan-2 is minutes away from landing on the Moon. Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander has begun its descent on to the lunar surface. India's second mission to the Moon, Chandrayaan-2 will attempt to land near the south pole of the Moon between 1:30 and 2:30 am Saturday. Chandrayaan-2's lander Vikram houses the six-wheeled rover Pragyaan that will explore the lunar surface for around 14 Earth days. The Chandrayaan-2 mission also consists of an orbiter that will revolve around the Moon for around a year. Updates on the Chandrayaan-2 landing are coming in from the Indian Space Research Organisation's headquarters in Bengaluru.
