This Short Film based on Feminism and Gender Equality was made by the Communication Design students of IIAD, as part of their Filmmaking Workshop with Ms. Pallavi Arora. The film traces preconceived notions of gender equality and the often misinterpreted understanding of feminism by people at large. Age-old behavioral patterns of reducing women to mere physical attributes while ignoring their capabilities, intellect, and strength compared to their male counterparts have been prevailing in our society since time immemorial. The film succeeds in weaving together a thought-provoking narrative by highlighting sensitive issues like the objectification of women in media and overlooking their potential and challenges they face in the quest to establish their presence in a patriarchal society.
