This Short Film based on 'fitting in' was made by the Communication Design students of IIAD as part of their Filmmaking Workshop titled 'Celluloid', under the mentorship of Ms. Pallavi Arora. The film portrays a teenager's quest to fit into the social order and emulate the lifestyle of his peer group. The narrative beautifully weaves together the teenager's emotional turmoil while succumbing to peer pressure and eventually steering clear of it to embrace his true self. Apart from making documentaries, she is also the co-founder of Sotomoto, a design studio that specializes in creating kids’ products inspired by Indian Crafts. Realising the need for children to be exposed to filmmaking and photography as forms of creative expression, Pallavi started an initiative in 2015 titled ‘The Little Picture Project’. The Little Picture Project conducts filmmaking workshops for children and young adults (age 7 onwards) using an interactive hands-on approach that emphasizes creativity and teamwork.
