This Short film based on Accepting oneself was made by the Communication Design students, Class of 2020, of IIAD as part of their Filmmaking Workshop 'Celluloid' under the mentorship of Ms. Pallavi Arora. The film portrays the life of a transgender who is trapped in the clutches of the societal norms. It rightfully showcases the emotions and struggles one goes through in the journey of accepting oneself. The film further highlights the parent's positive perspective on the same where the father pens down a poem for his son which has been narrated throughout the film. The entire concept imparts a positive message that transgenders are amongst us, they are no different, they deserve acceptance and equal respect.
