Though the Author has said it is unrelated to any real penguins in zoos or nature, it’s a fanciful tale for children that reminds us people come in all forms and love between beings of all kinds comes in many forms. Nature shows us many examples of attraction and companionship from two male penguins adopting an egg to a percentage of Rams having no interest in ewes. Studies of both humans and animals show us that may behaviors are natural AND that gentics show that genes which trigger gayness and genes that trigger increased reproduction in straight men are one in the same.
