More Recipes at https://www.fairiescuisine.com/all-re... _____________________________ INGREDIENTS 300 g fresh Japanese cherry blossom petals 1.5 kg sugar (divided) 1 L drinking water 1/2 lemon juice 1/4 tsp citric acid 4-5 cloves 4-5 lemon blossoms (optional) _____________________________ DIRECTIONS Clean petals, removing stems and green parts. Knead with 1 cup sugar and let rest for a few hours. In a pot, combine petals, 1.5 L of water and cloves, bring to a boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes Then add remaining sugar and simmer for 15-20 more minutes. Test consistency by placing a drop on a cold plate. If thick, it's ready; if runny, cook a little longer. Stir in lemon juice and citric acid and cook for 5-6 more minutes. Pour into sterilized jars. Store and serve as a floral spread, infusion, or dessert topping. Enjoy the fleeting beauty of sakura in every spoonful!
