Who says you can't go long distances in an affordable electric vehicle? I recently took advantage of the spring vacation school break in Boston to take the kiddos over to Cleveland, OH to see their grandparents in our 2017 Bolt EV -- okay, they met us in western New York, but that was in an EV as well! This summary video of our 700+ mile trip over there is a leisurely take on the journey via tourist spots in upstate New York, in stark comparison to the return trip through Pennsylvania (I-80) -- coming soon! -- that we took on in pretty much one fell swoop. Apologies in advance for the brief blackout glitches of the Fredonia stop at 19 mins, but you can check out that full charge session on Electrify America via the in-video cards for that section (or the link below) if you're sadistic... errr, I mean, an "enthusiast" ;-) Or just jump to 19:30 for the final leg. - - - - UPDATE (JUNE 2019): Electrify America has now released its mobile app, accompanied by membership plans and new pricing. I got on the Pass+ membership and tested the app in this newer video: • Electrify America Mobile App: First Charge... - - - - Full Fredonia, NY Electrify America charge session -- 16 to 80%: • Why Electrify America's Old Pricing Model ... Thanks as always for watching and remember to subscribe if you haven't already... it's the best way to catch the return journey (all Pennsylvania, all Electrify America -- what could possibly go wrong?!) as soon as it's posted, assuming of course that the editing process doesn't kill me. ------------------------------------------------ Suggestions, comments, and well-meaning abuse can be directed to [email protected].
