Electric vehicles are traveling further and further, but can a (non-Tesla) EV make it across 300+ miles of rural Pennsylvania? Fast charging is scarce and L2 back-ups limited on this route across PA via I-80, but the rapidly expanding Electrify America network has installed multiple sites this year that should make it possible... if everything runs smoothly. This video covers how we got on attempting to traverse this stretch of I-80 and whether Electrify America cut the mustard as a standalone network. - - - - UPDATE (JUNE 2019): Electrify America has now released its mobile app, accompanied by membership plans and new pricing. No other provider has this kind of coverage, so it was interesting to test the limits.
