This is a video of how to format a USB drive for use of updating the firmware of the Behringer X32. It will also work for saving scenes and directly recording from the USB recorder. For best results, pick a USB drive that has 4GB or less of space. A 1GB, 2GB, 4GB drive will do just fine. Even an old 512MB drive will do the trick. There are many ways to format a drive in a FAT format, this is one sure way to do it correctly; using Diskpart inside of the command prompt. The commands that I talk about in the video are listed here: Find and right click on Command Prompt (cmd.exe) and choose "Run As Administrator" Type "list disk" Type "select disk #" (replace # with your disk number) Type "clean" (this WILL format your drive, so save any important information before) Type "create partition primary" Type "select partition 1" Type "active" Type "format fs=fat32" Type "assign" (to assign a drive letter) Type "exit" (you are done!) If you have any questions feel free to post below. P.S. this is also how you make a bootable USB drive for installing windows or linux.
