Hi everyone, and welcome to FourEyedMonster Miniatures, a channel that’s home to regular video uploads of either custom painted scale model kit projects or straight-out-of-the-box pre-painted figure reviews ranging from budget prize to premium upper-tier categories. This bishoujo figure unboxing and review is about a second-hand Prize A figure set of Rem (レム) and Ram (ラム) Pudding a al Mode version from the Bandai Spirits ‘Re:Zero Sweet Spring Has Come, Which One Should I Eat First?’ Ichiban Kuji (一番くじ). Both Rem and Ram are key characters in the Re:Zero-Starting Life In Another World (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活). They are twin sisters with the former being arguably the more popular among fans. Because the Ichiban Kuji that the Prize A figure set comes from is no longer active, I could only get my hands on the figure set through the second-hand aftermarket. I had bought it online from Lashinbang, Japan’s largest second-hand store. Lashinbang had given this Prize A figure set a rating of ‘Opened-B’ with further descriptions stating that there are stains on the back of both figures as well as the pedestal (display base). In addition to that, Lashinbang also highlighted some damage to the box. For the time being, the pre-painted figures are being ranked on a six-tier system (as described below) to help you decide if you would want them in your collection. Seeing how the quality of figurines are rapidly changing all the time, there is always the possibility this rating system will be expanded upon. But until then, the definition of each of the six-tiered ratings is as follows: Special (S-Rank) : Exceptional; a must-have in your figure collection Diamond (A-Rank) : Superb, an excellent addition to any collection Platinum (B-Rank) : Good addition to any figure collection Gold (C-Rank) : Solid budget piece, worth getting if cost is a factor Silver (D-Rank) : Decent but non-essential addition to any figure collection Bronze (E-Rank) : Avoid at all costs; not worth it! Close to the end of this video, I’ll be rating this pre-painted bishoujo figure set of Rem and Ram so that you can make an informed decision to either add them to your collection, or not. 00:00 Opening Credits 00:05 Preview of Re:Zero Ichiban Kuji Prize A 00:46 Lashinbang Second-hand Product Info 00:40 Unbox & Unwrap Rem & Ram 01:46 ASMR Unboxing & Unwrapping 03:00 Closeup of Dessert Cup Display Base/Stand 03:42 Inspection of Stains on Figures 04:57 Once Over/Closeup of Rem & Ram 06:28 Cause of the Stains 07:50 Full 360° View of Rem & Ram 08:27 Height of figure set on display base 08:36 Full 360° View [continued] 05:50 Full 360° Upper View of Rem & Ram 08:03 Full 360° View [continued] 10:51 Summary about Rem & Ram figure set 12:57 Rating of Rem & Ram Pudding a la Mode 13:18 Outro and End Credits Thank you for taking the time to watch this video. If you liked it, please don’t forget to hit the like button and also subscribe to my YouTube Channel i.e. FourEyedMonster Miniatures About FourEyedMonster Apart from collecting pre-painted scale and non-scale figures, I also paint miniature figures as well as work on custom-painted scale model kit projects of tanks, mechas, etc. And as a miniature painter, I get to work on figurines from scratch: from assembling and giving them a primer coat, all the way to painting them using acrylic, lacquer, and/or enamel paints. This gives me a unique perspective on fully-painted figures, which in my case is mainly prize and non-prize figures based on Japanese anime. In this series of unboxing videos, I hope to review in detail the pre-painted figures in my collection with a critical eye both in terms of paint job as well as sculpt quality. I’ll also look at how good the poses are and even how much work has been done on the display base propping up the figure. Occasionally, I will also include videos chronicling the progress of my custom-painted scale model kit projects, in which I assembly and paint either figures, tanks, cars, or mechas. Most, if not all of the pre-painted figures in my collection will be reviewed in their original straight-out-of-the-box condition. If any retouch work is done to the figures, it will be explicitly stated in the video title and commentary. But for the most part, these pre-painted figures will be reviewed without any modification to their original paintwork. #rezero #prepainted #ichibankuji
