I get asked tons of questions about skin removal after such an extreme weight loss. I thought it would be best to have my surgeon answer some of these questions since he is the expert and plastic surgeon that is working with me to remove my excess skin. The procedures I have had done are: 1. A corset trunkplasty that included a circumferential lower body lift at the same time 2. Circumferential Upper body lift including a Brachioplasty or skin removal to my arms. 3. Revision to my upper body lift to remove the loose skin on my upper back and tighten the area further 4. Revision to my arms to remove even more loose skin from my arms and tighten my arms and back to give them a better shape. 5. Liposuction to my lower extremities. This procedure was done to debulk my legs including my claves in preparation for a medial thigh lift. Each person and each case is different. What each person is looking for and what they are expecting is different when they are looking for a body makeover after their weight loss. Some people may need a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty and be done and have the results they are looking for.
