Here’s the truth… Healing is not just about mending past wounds. It’s also about unlearning the lies we’ve believed about who we’re supposed to be. 💥Somewhere along the way, the world started handing out silent rules: Be slimmer. Be taller. Be curvier. Be quieter. Be richer. Be perfect. And if you weren’t those things? You were made to feel like you were less. But I’m here to tell you today, You were never less. Just because I don’t have a flat tummy like you… Does that make me less human? Just because I don’t have nyash to twerk — Does that make me less of a woman? Let’s talk about this honestly, okay? We live in a world that profits off of our insecurity. Off of our comparison. Off of our silence. But when we start to heal, We realize something powerful — ✨ Our value was never in our image. It was in our essence. 🪞You don’t have to be liked by everyone. You don’t need to be celebrated to be worthy. But what’s not okay… Is when people confuse “different” with “disrespect.” Let me be clear: You don’t have to like me. But respect? That’s a human right. Say it with me: “I am full. I am complete. I am me.” God did not make a mistake when He created you. Your story, your shape, your background, your beauty — it was all intentional. 🎯Let me give you 3 quick healing truths I learned on this journey: 1. Comparison is the thief of joy • We’re not all meant to look the same, act the same, or want the same things. That’s diversity. That’s beauty. 2. You teach people how to treat you • If you respect yourself deeply, others will learn from that energy. 3. Healing means reclaiming your identity • Not the one they gave you. The one that was already inside you. 💌 Maybe you’ve been carrying shame for not looking like “them.” Or you’ve been shrinking your voice so they don’t call you “too much.” Or wearing pain as armor because the world called you “not enough.” But I want you to know this: 💗 You are enough — not after you lose weight, not after you get rich, not after you “fix” yourself. You’re enough right now. You are a whole human being, and that’s something to honor — not apologize for. 🛑 Take your power back. Take your worth back. Take your identity back. You don’t need to be someone else to matter. Thank you for sharing this space with me.
