Take a look at what goes on at our traditional bonfire evening! This year bonfire night at the Museum is on Friday 5 and Saturday 5 November, 6.30pm to 10.00pm and is a PRE-BOOK ONLY EVENT! The Museum's biggest evening event of the year is it's traditional Bonfire Night with the ADDED SAFETY OF NO FIREWORKS. A family-orientated Bonfire Night celebrates November 5th with roaring bonfires and traditional entertainment including; hot roast chestnuts, toffee apples, fire juggling, Punch & Judy, Jazz band, sing alongs in the Inn, the Rolling Mill in action and a fairground in full swing. New this year; Phoenix Brass Band and Fizzog Theatre performances in the Workers' Institute The Museum's atmospheric canal-side village will be lit up with candle and gas-light and visitors can enjoy chatting to characters from yesteryear.
