059 Sailing Norways BlindLeia.

Okay, on my own now. And on the first trip there is plenty of excitement. Almost running aground, very narrow passages and waves I did not expect. The start of the solo adventure makes me 10 years older in one day but what a scenery! For those who don't know me, I am Jan and I’d going to set sail for a longer period of time during this summer! Unfortunately my wife does not like sailing as much as I think I do so we can't do it all together but we found a middle ground! On a boat? Yes, an aluminum Koopmans 36 foot Sailboat called Wind Rose.The plan was conceived in 2006 and I've have been working towards it ever since. With the purchase of Wind Rose, our go anywhere aluminium sailboat, I committed to departure. Knowing the destination(s), the duration and a rough route I'm doing the final preparations of Wind Rose and make sure we can focus on the sailing and not worry (too much) about the ship.
