This cool 1986 LTI FX4 London Taxi for sale was imported by its most current owner in April of 2012 from Great Britain. California DMV approved, titled, and registered. Inside is all original and surprisingly well preserved. The headliner is beginning to sag but the rest of the interior looks good including the original panels, trim, and upholstery. In the drive area air conditioning has been added to keep the cab area nice and cool. Equipped with a strong replacement 1994 Nissan diesel engine this Taxi starts, runs, and drives reliably with plenty of power. The transmission was replaced in 2013 and shifts great. Recent work includes a new battery, turn signal switch, fuel tank sending unit, valve cover gaskets, water pump, oil change, and safety inspection. Much of the paint will polish up but areas where previous signage existed have been spray painted and these areas should be re-painted such as along the sides below the body line and at the rear above the back window. Otherwise, the body is straight and in pretty good condition. With a small amount of cosmetic reconditioning, this LTI should look fantastic. Be sure to check out all 300+ photos at the link below.
