My wonderful stepmother has shared her Christmas Cookie recipe with me! She has been making these every year since 1973! You truly must try these special cookies, not only are they super fun to make, but they are so very delicious! Roslyn's Great Old Timey Cookies Cookies- 3 sticks butter, softened 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 2 tsp vanilla 4 egg yolks 1/4 tsp salt 2 tbs milk 4 cups all-purpose flour Icing- 4 egg whites(or 1/2 cup pasteurized liquid egg whites) Pinch cream of tartar 4 cups confectioner’s sugar, sifted Preheat oven to 350F/177C Makes approximately 36 cookies(depending on size of cookie cutters) If you enjoy these videos, please consider supporting my work!
