If you recreate these recipes please tag me as I would love to see and feature your creation! #chinesevegetables #healthyrecipes #easychineserecipe Timestamps: 0:00 Intro to Chinese vegetables 2:15 Snow pea leaves 5:15 Crown daisy 8:17 Hollow vegetable Snow Pea Leaves Recipe ------------------------------------------------------------------ *Snow pea leaves are also known as snow pea shoots or dou miao Ingredients: o 1 bag of snow pea leaves o 2 Tbsp coconut oil o 1 tsp soy sauce Cooking: o Heat coconut oil in a wok on medium heat until melted o Add snow pea leaves and cook for 1-2 minutes until soft o Top with soy sauce and mix o Serve and enjoy! Daisy Crown Leaves Recipe ------------------------------------------------------------------ *Daisy crown is also known as chrysanthemum greens or tong hao Ingredients: o 1 bag of daisy crown o 2 Tbsp Lao Gan Ma chili oil with peanuts Cooking: o Blanch daisy crown in boiling water for 30 seconds o Heat chili oil in a wok on medium heat o Add drained daisy crown to wok and quickly stir fry for 30 seconds o Serve and enjoy! Hollow Vegetable Recipe ------------------------------------------------------------------ *Hollow vegetable is also known as morning glory, water spinach or kong xin cai Ingredients: o 1 bunch of hollow vegetable o 3 cloves of garlic o 1 Tbsp sesame oil o 1 tsp soy sauce o 1 tsp cornstarch o 1 tsp water Prep: o Trim the dry ends of hollow vegetable o Mince garlic o Mix cornstarch and water (mix again prior to cooking to ensure there are no lumps) Cooking: o Blanch vegetables in boiling water for 30 seconds o Heat sesame oil in a wok on medium heat o Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant o Add drained vegetables to wok and quickly stir fry for 30 seconds o Pour in cornstarch and water mixture o Toss to coat o Serve and enjoy!
