Wondering if you can ever really heal from trauma? Spoiler alert: you can. In this video, I talk about trauma healing and some of the approaches I use in my work as a trauma therapist. Trauma doesn’t mean you’re broken—it means your nervous system learned how to survive. And with the right support, it can learn something new. One modality I use is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), along with trauma-informed, somatic-based tools that support nervous system regulation and integration. Healing looks different for everyone, and therapy isn’t about forcing change—it’s about finding what actually works for you. You don’t have to stay stuck in a pain cycle forever. Healing is possible, and it doesn’t require reliving your trauma over and over again.
