My name is Xanthe. I said 'psychologist' by mistake at nearly 12:00 when meant 'psychiatrist' (quite often get linked words confused). Bit of a vent here of why see fulltime masking as rubbish and the 'unmasking' narrative by the 'neurodiversity movement' also as rubbish. I'm disappointed to see psychologists like Tony Attwood selling out to neurodiversity ideology. 'Masking' to hide autistic traits is the excuse that those who subscribe to neurodiversity use as an excuse why no one noticed anything for decades, including themselves. 'Autistic burnout' is just burnout. Have seen some social media influencers convince a clinician when burnout out. Have seen some people also admit they exaggerated to get a diagnosis. Diagnosis should only be given if there is clinicially signicant impairment across all enviroments.
