Nightmare Motor Install! - Turbo Ford 5 Speed In A Chevy?... 1971 Opel GT

On the last instalment of "The Opel Series" we had cut out a rather large amount of the cars under hood to fit the 2.3 Turbo Ford between the rails. In todays video we fill in all those holes with a little weld and metal. Definitely one of the most tedious and boring jobs I've done in a while. With the firewall all welded back together I cleaned, seam sealed and painted the under hood area. The Ford 2.3 Turbo was dirty and covered in grease. Before I the motor went back in the car for the "final" time I pressure washed and painted it. It's amazing what a little elbow grease and a couple rattle cans of paint can do.
