Over the past couple of episodes we have been shoe horning a turbo charged 2.3 Ford motor in our 1971 Opel GT. With engine and trans bolted in place we needed to address the height of the motor so the hood would close. The factory 2.3 had the turbo charge pipe run over the valve cover so the hood wouldn't close. I figured a forward facing intake would solve all sorts of problems. The lower intake would allow the hood to close. With the lower intake and the throttle body facing forward, we are able to run an intercooler between the turbo and intake. More room and more power?
